Finally discovered the joys of Light assult... been spending a lot of time on HA and support.

I just cant get into the Infiltrator. I guess I dont have the patience for this class tongue.gif

Aliens - Colonial Marines will be out early next month.... so Im gonna be torn.

it's like they're fixing bases because they're broken for farming, and they're rotating the warpgates, and I am fairly certain they already have that ready. They could give us that now, and take a bit more time on the sub-machine guns, and the NC weapon buff, and the prowler/vanguard changes, and the (hopefully) reaver fixes on top of what ever else they are planning that they haven't shared with us. As much as I would rather have them FIX Indar than to just give it to us, the wg swap on the 3 continents would be a nice injection of freshness all in it's own, and the base design changes would just add atop of that.

Waitwhah? What changes to the prowler and vanguard? I missed this, and it's kind of a big deal for me.

More times then not, the "whale" expects the fighters to "move" sadly I cannot see in all directions. Even more so when I'm dog fighting 2-3 mozzies. Cannot tell you how many times I've been dog fighting and a Galaxy comes flying through the area and clips me. Not a good time..

The LA is my "go to" class when I'm infantry. Mostly because I'm a multi deminsional fighter. So I use my jet pack to do all kinds of fun little moves to confuse and kill hostiles. My Fav is doing a 360 around a target well inside a building. Sure, good players won't really get fooled by this little trick, but "good" players are not so abundent as folks think, so it works 8-10 times nicely..lol

Humans in general have a terrible habit of not looking "up" we've grown up with this we see what's at eye level thing. You can see it clearly when kids play "hide and seek" they check only areas at "eye" level. People keep this trend into adulthood. Games like Portal use that to mes with your mind, and games like that and other FPS titles taught me the value of being higher, and using that against targets..lol

A couple extra days for them to polish the update is not a large issue. They fixed the MAX render range after they buff'd them, and that was importent. Hopefully when they release they will add a weekly WG rotation, optimization, better map design, and a overall better "flow" I'm not burnt out yet, but I have limited myself to avoid it recently.

Not seeing a discrepancy between the magrider and the other tanks myself, but if they wanna buff the prowler, then by all means. biggrin.gif

My only complaint is that the prowler does what the vanguard is supposed to do and the vanguard does what the prowler is supposed to do. Prowler gets anchor mode. Great! What does that mean? I'm easier to hit when I'm trying to do damage, and don't have the armor to take the extra hits. Vanguard has a shield, and does a crapton of damage, while staying mobile. Wait... They get more damage and a shield? Yes...

Every time a vanguard rolls up on me while I'm anchored I have to pull up and run around like an idiot if I want to stay alive. Guess what the vanguard does? He stops dead and soaks up every shot I throw at him like a champ, glowing that healthy blue glow.

This is a complete role reversal, and you can't tell me it isn't. Prowler clearly has anchor mode, vanguard doesn't.

I tend to agree with this. Everytime the Vanguards arrive.. I just have to leave. If Im really lucky or the Vanguard is lazy, I can get a couple of rear shots but that about it. As for mags... even with certs into rival performance, they still run rings around me. Prowler certs into armour dont seem to do much either frown.gif

Hate to break it to you, but your double-shot does more damage then our Vanguard does. Anchor mode makes you reload faster I belive, and you have a faster tank; this fits the TR's features of "pump more rounds into the enemy at all costs".

Vanguards get a shield, and a strong, slow-firing single-shell round; this fits the NC's features of high-damage heavy armor but slow ROF.

That you think the shield fits TR or that anchor mode fits NC is laughable. Anchor mode may not be the best power, but is sure as heck doesn't fit the NC feature set... we're not about firing faster, we're about getting the job done right the first time. And shields don't fit TR at all. Period.
