Yay..More content when the optimization is still terrible. Wonder how many more man hours this will set back the optimization staff, or if SOE will try and feed us the (we optimized to gain players roughly 15% more performance, but many users will notice a hit becuase we added 20% more stuff that ate up that performance gain).

I don't really enjoy brute forcing my way though this game, love it. But I wish I could keep my SLI enabled, or that they would finish optimizing so they could give us better texture options like we've been promised since Early beta when they reduced them right after hardware testing.

Wow, the Striker is pretty OP too. I parked myself on a hill on an ammo pack and had no problem shooting down any Liberators and Galaxies in the area, all by myself.

They are hell on my Reaver's... two TR can take a Reaver out in seconds, I can't even out run them with external booster tanks and speed 2.

Wow, I really like the idea of the Alert System. I am kind of sad to see it’s mostly for non peak time because I would like to see it used to encourage people to play on different continents during peak hours. I guess there is always hope that in the future the alert system will figure out what continent on your server has the fewest people and make it the objective for a few hours.

Also, does anyone know why it seems like some people can see a cloaked infiltrator and other people can't? Does it have something to do with people's graphic settings? I know I can see a moving infiltrator (on med settings) up to about 20 meters away. More often than not, I can run in front of people cloaked and they seem like they never saw me. I kind of wish the results of using cloaking was more consistent.

Pretty sure the cloak was fixed to balance out no matter the settings. I think it comes down to "morons" honestly. I can see cloakers clear as day when they are moving, but I've also got good eyes for movement, so that slight shimmer really stands out like a sore thumb to me..haha

Yup, that and alot of cloakers will flicker their cloak. Which if your within 50m's will hear them clear as day. Alot of them cannot comprehend this fact

I try my best to avoid running into anyone head on when cloaked, but sometimes it just happens. I just like it when it happens and I'm not noticed so I can shoot him in the back of the head as he passes.

I have no problem with a moving cloaked infil being easy to see. I do wish that a perfectly still one was invisible. I know I can see non moving ones with in 20ish meters and almost feel bad mowing them down as they can't even fire back in time. Also, I think it would be nice if you could knife while cloaked, but knifing removed your cloak. I don’t know.

I want them to encourage more infiltrators to play as infiltrators and less sniping, but I realize that could be very hard to do without making infiltrators OP.

If you just sit in the open your easy to see. However a infil in a bush, or in a corner is pretty hard to notice. A big issue with Infil was when they could use shotguns..lol This was also when the cloak was much better, you didn't even know they snuck behind lines till half your squad got a shotgun to the back of the skull.ahaha

Stupid shotguns... Every time a shot gun kills me I get jealous and want one too. I guess I should be thankful we even get SMGs. I already hear enough complaining about silenced SMGs when I take out 4+ people hiding behind a tree and already fighting our main force.
