RAM Upgrade for ASUS EEE 1015PEM

Thread Starter
I have this netbook http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220817 and I want to upgrade the ram from 1GB to 2GB. It uses SODIMM DDR3 according to it's ASUS.com specification page, does that mean I can use any 204-pin SODIMM DDR3 module? I want to use the 204-pin variant of the 30nm samsung "wonder ram" because it is fast and draws less power but I do not know if it will work.

This seemed relatively straightforward to me in that I could use any 204-pin SODIMM DDR3 module but this comment on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/review/R38GCIZ1GL2YO4/ref=cm_cr_dp_title?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B001KB6Z2U&nodeID=172282&store=electronics says this netbook needs 8 chips and not 16 chips. Anyone familiar with what that means?

EDIT: Link to Samsung 204-pin ram http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820147089

8 chips as in, 8 memory chips (those black rectangles on the RAM stick). That RAM has 4 on each side, so it should be fine. The Crucial RAM mentioned in that Amazon post also has 4 (on each side, I'm certain). I'd say go for it.
