on to your question, seems AMD have "prioritized" HDMI audio driver if HDMI port or optical SPDIF were used.it gone worse since windows audio control panel initiate the first audio device detected.onboard audio use pci bus and share classes with Radeon's audio, both at the same internal high definition buses.since Radeon audio driver activate first along with graphics driver,it may triggers internal conflict.

Damn, did not know this affected so many of you guys.

If you set your profiles right in AB, your cards will still downclock to 300/150 on the slave cards. AB does a decent job of it w/ PP off. YOu have to be using a driver that is capable of decent clock control, ie. rc11, 12.9 beta.

I had the BF3 black screen problem several times. 2 times in CS:GO.

Also the misreads from AB GPU Usage. In Armored Kill it goes up to 67% usage but I'm getting decent framerate.

Bought my card on April.

sorry for my bad explanation redface.gif
So do you think that my TV that is connected(serves me as second monitor) via HDMI could be causing problems?

So i can set lower voltage for idle and lower clocks in MSI AB for 2D?

No, you set the 2D profile to your stock clocks so it can drop into low power mode.

no,onboard audio did.
further digging,it's just funny problem only occur with Realtek integrated audio.some of my colleagues uses older prebuilt desktop pc with crappy IDT onboard sound and they never had such a problem.
did AMD used Realtek's PHY? confused.gif

Are any of these things fixable via drivers, or is it basically a "whoops, guess we shouldn't have done that," kind of thing?

Is this a 78xx specific issue?
