Head phone extension cord

Hey, I need to get an extension cord for my head phones, and I was thinking, do you think the quality of the cord will make a noticeable difference in audio quality ? I have a pair of Ultrasone Hfi-2400 and an X-fi Titanium card btw.

As long as it's of good quality, it shouldn't make a noticeable difference in sound quality. Try to only purchase the length you need as a very long cord can add resistance and capacitance, which can cause sound degradation.
