Which case?

I am stuck. I cannot decide between the Antec Nine Hundred, The Thermaltake Armor w/ 25cm fan, the Aerocool 3T with the 25cm fan, or the Antec P180b. I am trying to fit a EVGA 680i with an E6600 and a TTBT.

I'd probably go Thermaltake Armor....love that case, and that 25cm fan really helps cool a large area, like a motherboard or it'll blow over an entier heatsink..my choice is armor

The only problem i have with the armor is the fact that it weighs 50lbs by itself. Im thinkin of going lanning so weight is an issue. But since its such a good case, i had to put it on the list.

For those interested I suggested the nine hundred, and the p180b in a msn conversation, Here's links to the TWO that we discussed over msn.

The Antec P180B Advanced Super Mid Tower. (Practically a Full tower itself).

http://w.memoryexpress.com/index.php...ctID=8137&SID=

I'd use it more as a professional office pc case, looks more "right" for it.

However, for the more "leet" gamer, to quote the pc, the nine hundred is here.

http://w.memoryexpress.com/index.php...ctID=9164&SID=

Both cases are awesome. Both i've talked about with a rep @ memory express.

About 99% of overclock.net have never heard of memory express because it's a canadian and local computer /hardware store that I go to frequently. Quite impressed with the knowledgeable staff, and so forth.

However you can probably find the part/sku/Model # etc, and just search for the name of it on either tiger direct, or newegg.com

Though a surprise. Those prices are canadian, and in the long run, are slightly CHEAPER then the american priced counterparts on newegg. Shocking?

Check this out!

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811129021

They are Identically Numerically the same price, HOWEVER, considering the american to canadian currency difference, add about 10-20% and you'll quickly see that buying it in canada is cheaper. And that's after that "instant savings" that newegg came up with!

And to top it off, I don't have to pay shipping! I just walk on up! (bus transit, bus, walk a short distance, return same way, but it's cheaper!).

So, not to be offensive, but canada pwns the states on this one for sales Hehehehehehe,

Anyways, hope this helps Emu, Peace, and cya on msn.

the nine hundred is pracatically new on the market .
i own one .
its a great case .
i would say different if there was something wrong with it .
ive have this case about a month .
its a great cooling case .
if you want , there is lots of potential for modding this case to tidy up those wires a bit .
for the price ,it will be a job to beat the antec nine hundred.
performance wise , its amazing . imo .
research alot . choose a case that fits YOU .

happy shopping .
cheers .

NewPhase, hehe, funny statement,

And towards Littlejohn1959, Awesome insight, much appreciated for myself especially. (finding what suits you, etc).

Emu, IF you consider this for a sec, weight isn't an issue. IF you can carry, say, a 20lb sack of potatoes around for a mile, and not drop it, you can EASILY get the armour, no problem what so ever. However, If your personal strength isn't at it's "best" lately (like some geeks and myself, hehe), then maybe an antec design is best suited for you.

Respects to all,

Le_Loup
