A new go on Z77 Sabertooth Air overlocking, i72600K

Finally, after trial and error, my system is running cooler.

Earlier, I posted a thread about my cpu sensors showing 48 c in the Asus monitoring program during load, on 4.5 Ghz clocking.

This was, as several of you said, an error.

Now, I can present the following results, aircooling:

I think this is pretty good.

My next goal is 4800GHz

Update will follow.

better yet just do a stability test of 12 hrs, unless you are not done oc'ing. we have similar results at 4.5 on air (scythe mugen 2000).

Some more results, but now vcore is getting high. By lowering it to 1.4 I ran into stability-issues, the same happened with 1.45, I am now at 1.475 @ 4.9 GHz.

My cpu is willing to go to 5GHz, but Asus ramps up vcore to 1.56, which is too high. I know Intel reps have given 1.52 as a safe-threshold, but so many on foras everywhere rush out to say "no no, stop at 1.3"

It could also be my RAM configuration not being optimal, this set reached a lot better results at tweaktown, but anyway, some more shots:

I will do a 2 hour test later to check temps.

My cooler-configuration is Phanteks ph-tc14pe combined with EK-TIM Indigo Extreme instead of standard thermal paste.
