Blah, LN2 is irrelevant for most people. It'd be nice if it were possible to get 4.5+ GHz on air though. That'd be awesome performance for a 130~150$ish APU.

They already reach 4.2Ghz in turbo mode. I'm going to wager average max overclocks are 4.6-5.0Ghz on air. I'd love to be wrong, though!

The can already go up to 4.8, from what I've seen.

Well, even better.
I see some serious value there if they release CPU-only versions of this à la Athlon II X4 651 (which was below 100$, by the way) and they're decently binned. You'd get a dual module Piledriver that may clock up into the vicinity of 5 GHz - don't tell me that's not seriously tempting. Who knows, the on-die northbridge might actually make these quicker in memory-intensive tasks than the FX-43xx line, even if lacking L3 cache.

This probably means 5.3 - 5.5ghz on SS Phase. 4.8Ghz on air would be really nice for a second rig!

Alatar needs one of these with his Phase Change lol

So at these crazy speeds, what does that mean for teh Build in Graphics? How much does performance scale in these beasts as the clocks rise? I try not to take things at face value of Gigglehurtz, remember AMD 939 proc's vs pre Conroe Procs? You had Pentium 4's and D's at 3.8ghz getting beaten down by AMD CPU's at only 2~2.4ghz.

not hard to MAKE your processor Sound like it would be faster by changing the operations per clock.
