520W enough? - Page 3

FYI I am running a 2600k @ 4.5 with a 7870 GHz on a Antec 620c watt. No issues. 6850 in CFX didn't run good.

Personally I'd take the NeoEco over the cx line
That BP550+ is OLD (see my sig rig!) still trucking along in my rig years later, but really not worth buying now.
The RG630 would work
Or the ZT 550w

Guys, OP's planned build will work fine off a quality 400w unit with ease. That 520w Neo Eco would power his rig with crossfire 7870's just fine.

OP:
Go for that Neo Eco 520. It's a solid enough unit. It's slightly dated, but it'll work just fine and I wouldn't hesitate with it on sale at $45. You're not going to beat that for the price. Could you get one thats SLIGHTLY more efficient? Sure you could. Is it worth spending $100 on to save a few pennies every month on your electric bill? That's up to you.

I'd go with the Neo Eco personally, that's a steal at $45. That's what I spent on each of my CX430's (the CX500 and 600 aren't worth it at all).

The bp550 plus? That will work, its just a fairly old design. You should definitely go with the ocz zt550 if you want modular over that old antec PSU
