[Network World]You might be surprised at which Web browser aced this security test - Page 7

Well clearly some people say sponsor by Microsoft or why this particular version is not in it. Looking at the sample size, which they must have started cutting of which browsers to put in it or starting around June (Chrome 19 - May 15ish; Firefox 13 June 5ish), you say the latest is not in it people of course, no snap it will not be with the large sample size of URLs to test on computers etc. Otherwise it be not release the final article for people to read after they do all the research, analysis to put it in a research paper, until well never. Anyway this mostly not fix up any of the issues, with Mozilla incurring the numbers and all the bugs staying the same each version (don't believe me look at the bugs for all the different editions of Firefox you shall very similar ones). Google Chrome well they don't really added new features with the constant incurring major number versions. Mostly of this seems to the filters which is one some external server/s (though sometimes, yes on the client side with the browser but not always).

I use EasyList Standard and also some other tracking protection lists. EasyList is an adblocker, there're some others as well.

Also, people using gmail/android/chrome is comparable to people using outlook/windows phone/ie

it's just which ecosystem you invested in and they sync nicely.

That still does not block Flash ads however.

You can use per-site addon for Flash Player.

riou ,you can block everything.ask twitch for fun .they had to stop trying to save their ads on flash.now?i see the ads but i dont supply their bandwith(free ride )this is my main issue .i dont mind ads but if i supply your ads bandwith via saving them on my system in any way i will counter mesure harshly.some even tho the site (twitch was being ddosed)they werent lol .its their stupid ads that were countermesured .ms knew this they checked into it.ms response, everything is fine .grin.i spammed twitch for month to stop trying to save their ads on ny flash since everyone of them would be countermesured.some told me they werent saving to flash(of caurse they were lol)when they adipted the ctv method site became smooth as butter.ie 9 is a good browser.as for ff way i tried it,it just doesnt show you whats going on.i tested a lot all do it that way.ms way counter mesure means very smooth browsing.now if i can get counter mesure on wp i ll be set.but so far i dont need it .why?because ms ads dont eat my bandwith surprisingly .and i suspect they lk have optimised it even more at wp 7 .8

Its good to see IE getting its head out of its butt and at least trying to get back on equal footing with the rest of the browsers. Now it only has to improve its speed, stability and CSS/HTML5 support. Seriously IE is holding back web development in a big way with its carppy support.

IMO its still

Chrome > Firefox > Opera > the rest IE, Safari ect.
