[S|A] Asus looking to buy Asrock - Page 9

Then you have to send in yet another RMA, all the while switching agents, and everybody thinking this is your first RMA and refusing to acknowledge what you say has gone on.
I honestly think people just want an underdog to rise up and will fluff them with praise to keep them afloat. Many ASRock boards ive owned, many mistakes ive made clearly.

I have both the Z77 Extreme4-M and Z77 Professional-M from ASRock, since their release, and both have been good boards so far with no problems what-so-ever.

Full retailer warranty on all products from all stores ftw.

The support thing with asus is just a problem for the US. How someone can just flat out say that asrock is superior quality escapes me. I guess that's why wee see a ton of lower end GB and asus boards get good extreme OCs but the only asrock board people use is the OC-Formula.

This is bad for us consumers, there would be no competition, Asus needs someone to keep them on there game so healthy competition makes sense.

i like my asus board, havent had any major issues with it.

brings me to imagine PEBKAC is likely to blame. Not really a nice way to put it but there are newbies on this forum that most likely cause a lot of their own problems.

Now that in itself isnt an issue, as we're all here to learn, but when they create threads like Asus sucks then that's when it gets annoying.

Noo! Don't let Asus buy a sock! Boycott!!!

On topic, I don't think I'd like this... ASRock has really stepped up its game recently and I'd like to see them continue on as another competitor in the industry. I like Asus, but they really charge an arm and a leg for their ROG boards. ASRock's top of the line OC board is quite affordable (Z77 OC Formula at $240).

I don't know bros. I've owned boards from both and Asus has always been ahead quality wise. Maybe you pay a bit more for it but in what area of life do you pay less for better quality?

True. I have NEVER had a bad Asus product. In fact they are some of the best that I have seen. Not sure why people hate them in here.
