[S|A] Asus looking to buy Asrock - Page 10

Oh no! Asus are pooping themselves as Asrock are gaining ground on them considering the reputation they have built in the last two years alone (1155) and things are only getting better for asrock.

I couldn't be happier with my Asrock board, It overclocks like a &^$( on crack, which is alot more than i can say for my previous asus motherboard

If this deal goes ahead, It will be a very sad day, I would hate to see gold caps on the next rog board mad.gif

I remember when Asrock was the lowest of the low their with ECS. They have done pretty well for themselves these past few years and I'm sure Asus considers them a viable threat now.

I just want DFI and Abit back. frown.gif

And you asrock lovers just defend like children. No solid evidence. You just insult anyone who opposes your hardware god.

Asrock seems to only care for their users spending the big bucks on their high end boards. Anyone else, if you're having an issue, everyone else is too. I will admit they got better on their z77 line....just how everyone else did too.....but their Sandy line.....never again.

agreed. i had two Z68 E3 G3 Boards that couldnt handle enough PCH voltage for a 2700k at 4.9 GHz (folding 24/7)
I RMA'd the first, when the replacement stopped working at 4.9, i was done........

I've used completely stable, very cheap ASRock AMD motherboards. The mid-low range boards might not be the best overclockers ever but eh that's to be expected.

My main machine currently uses an ASUS motherboard and my main notebook is an ASUS. No problems there either, great products as well.

So you're ticked because you had a budget board that you were doing pretty much enthusiast level air/water overclocks with and it couldn't hold the overclock 24/7? I'm no ASRock apologist as my experience with them was a buggy and headache inducing Z77 Extreme4, but that seems like a ridiculous reason to bash them.
