It's an insult to compare Blizzard to Facebook.

I'm not even sure if Facebook "games" can even be called games.

Also, I believe the biggest problem Blizzard has is that it takes them SOOOO long to develop and release a game. What I mean by this is that Titan is already been in the works since 2006. That means even though the game hasn't been released, it's already well outdated. By the time they release it (2014/2015) the game will already be 8-9 years old. It would be nice to think they would keep upgrading the content, art, graphics, etc. etc. but from looking back at WoW over the years, you can clearly tell it's not going to happen.
I also completely agree with Darkling5499. TBC was the last expansion that was actually fun and still felt like WoW. During Wrath, I got heavily involved in raiding and spent a LOT of time doing it. Blizzard is going to have an insanely hard time getting people back into the game after not playing for a few years. Currently, it takes WAY too long to level up and get the end-game content IMO. In Titan, I think they would be smart to go to a lower level cap, and make the whole game difficult. Quests, raids, and implement teamwork. They should focus highly on end-game raiding content and pvp.
Another point I think Blizzard is failing to understand is that today, in the realm of COD, BF3, and other shooters, games are "instant on" and "instant off." The younger generation doesn't, and won't, invest the countless hours that WoW requires. They want to start the game, play the content, and be done with it. Besides those "exceptional" players who can level their characters very quickly, if a person starts at level 1 and does quests/content, it's going to take them a LONG time to get to the end-game. That IMO, draws a LOT of people away from the game. Most adults just don't have the time to invest, nor do they want to.
Anyway, it will be interesting to see what they have been working on, but I just can't see it taking off unless it's something drastically different.

They were probably working on lore and developmental art in 2006. They don't need to be designing graphics in 2006. In 2008 working on the map. In 2010 they could have been developing the leveling and item system then now working on the graphics.

There will not be a subscription fee. The entire industry is stepping away from the sub fee, just because they are Blizzard doesn't mean they won't follow.

They'll milk the WoW sub fee as long as possible and go F2P once everyone finally gets off that game.

Blizzard has proven they can get away with things that other companies can not. Other companies cannot charge 60$ for a game, add in pay to win mechanics add in always on drm, eliminate lan and still make said game the fastest selling game on pc.

If it ain't world of starcraft I won't bother with it unless it radically different and innovative. However, without heavy computer advances I don't expect any thing different that what is available out in the market. I expect Blizzard to cherry pick the current mechanics of mmorpgs and call it new and innovative. That's why I don't expect much out of Titan. Likewise, the fact Blizzard is behind on their schedule and has recently produced games with a low quality to them is not encouraging.

What? That's a wild assumption. You think blizzard is NOT going to modernize their world of warcraft gameplay model created in the 90s/early 00s??? and NOT update their completely new Intellectual Property for modern times. I know you're wrong, because i use this thing called analysis. There's also numerous other things in your post that are almost delusional. Hey you don't like paying for blizzard MMOs? well take off the rose colored glasses cause blizzard is making another legal copy of Crack cocaine. That i won't be buying.
