Ball bearings as feet?

This was already done years ago on the GWS RotoKiller/Omnimouse. And doesn't actually work all that well, either.

The one in the video looks slick enough, though. Dunno how it feels in hand?

- Adds 32g of weight just for the bearings, who knows how much else is added from the plastic base.
- Costs $450
- Must change and eventually buy more "special" paper mouse pads every 2 weeks.

No thanks. At this price he might sell a total of two. The idea seems cool but it needs to be refined to be more practical.

Er, I don't think I would want to have zero friction in the first place. I can't see how one could be accurate if any slight movement would make the mouse move.

Wouldn't call this "new technology" they're just ball bearings.
