well ill prolly be ordering this as soon as the hard drives come back in stock. just want to make sure everything that needs to be there is there.

http://secure.newegg.com/NewVersion/...Number=3614591

gonna take the floppy out of my current comp to install raid drivers. might get rid of the cables and cut and round the ones that come with the P5B and wrap them with some of this stuff.

if the keyboard and mouse are still out of stock when the hard drives come in im gonna switch em for these

Why a e6400? What I mean is you could get a e6300 for a lot cheaper and overclock it past what a e6400 can do.

After 12 years of therapy my psychiatrist said something that brought tears to my eyes.. He said, "No hablo ingles."

i know, boredom said the same thing, but i dont have a whole lot of experience overclocking and would rather start out over 2Ghz and with a higher multi.

So you want the higher overclock? Then...I guess youd be right. Some people have gotten up to 3.33 stable with 6400.

Mmm.. I think about the same thing too, about the 1 extra multiplier for $40. I have an Athlon 64 2800+, the lowest grade Athlon 64 chip. I got the chip for 130, and the next step up was the 3000+ for 150. Now that i look back, i wish i had bought the 3000+ so i can overclock it further. If i had bought the 3000+ i could be at 2.6GHz instead of 2.37. In your case, say if u had ur FSB at 400MHz, then with an E6300 you'd be at 2.8, but with a 6400 you dbe at 3.2. That's a 400MHz difference. And the difference goes up as your FSB does. The choice is between saving 40 bucks or getting the extra MHz.
