Are you saying that you moved your My Documents folder to Downloads? Now you have My Documents and Downloads using the exactly same folder (i.e. C:/Users/Username/Download)?

Next, copy and save the following code as ShellFoldersPersonal.reg.

"Personal"="C:\\Users\\YourUserName\\Documents"
Change the part that says YourUserName into your account name. For example C:\Users\Riou\Documents\. Merge UserShellFolders.reg and ShellFoldersPersonal.reg into the registry.
Reboot your computer. (Alternatively you can end the explorer.exe process in Task Manager and open another explorer.exe process.)
Go to Libraries -> Documents -> right click -> Properties.
Click Restore Default. You may have to remove the My Document folder and click Apply. Then click Restore Default again.

The icon would automatically come back, I believe. I've dealt with plenty of issues like this when I implemented a document redirection policy at work.
