Ever since I built my rig, i've been plagued with blue screens when i played games on it. of course, i tried seeing if i screwed up in the hardware department but my ram was working, my graphics card was cooled enough and my proccessor wasn't a molten cookie. however, now I think i simply need to update my BIOS to fix the problem. aparantly my graphics card isn't too stable with particular board or my BIOS version.
That's the issue. My BIOS. how the fudge do I update it? i feel retarded asking, but for some reason i'm just stupid enough not to know. I've gone to the ASUS website and downloaded the CAP file in winrar with a bunch of adobe PDF documents. now what do I do?
[Board: ASUS P8-Z77 V_LX]
[by the way, the error my bue screens were giving me was something like a secondary proccessor did not respond in time..... i can't think of it off the top of my head, but if i'm a little less dumb than I said I was than maybe I'm right about it having something to do with my GPU OC?]
