iPhone beats the top Android phone in every possible aspect.

Ok I know this is an old post but are you kidding me?

1) The Lumina 920 is a Windows based phone.

2) Samsung does not have very good build quality, but rather makes awesome phones. Their phones still tend to be a bit plasticy. So that's still not a direct comparison. I hope I don't sound biased, but HTC has the best build quality out of the Android phones IIRC.

3) Comparing benches from different OS's is like comparing a truck to a lawnmower. They mean nothing when it's not on the same OS.

I don't want to sound like a total Android fanboy that disregards all of Apple's strong points, but so far your arguments have literally, been invalid.

Plastic is not a sign of "low quality", it's smart design. You use plastic as it absorbs impacts much better then steel. I guess WW2 tanks are much better then MBTs of today because they were completely made out of rigid steel. The only well designed Apple product was their original and current iPhones, that's it.

I meant a plasticy feel. I am not saying they are lower build quality, just that Samsung phones "feel" like they are of lower build quality to most people. Sorry for the misinterpretation.

Also, what phone is made out of steel? thumb.gif

EDIT: To your second point, I feel like the 4 and 4S would have been much better durability wise if they used Gorilla Glass instead of their own glass. The 5 is Gorilla Glass though, correct?

No it does not have gorilla glass. As of now, only Android has it.

Feel like properly engineered phones to me. The SGS 3 does suffer the same mistake that Apple had with their iPhone 4 line-up but is still leaps and bounds ahead of that design.

You missed the point that was made.

No, it's because of the shoddy individual that thought about using 2-planer glass be exposed on the plane that would shatter their screen who was incompetent of learning from their first mistake.

Not all stock roms suck...My MT4G is still running the OTA 2.3 W/Espresso
does OK...

Blah Blah blah plastic...blah blah blah metal.
HTC likes to use metal...for what reason I'm not sure....but does make the phone feel nice in your hand.
Samsung likes plastic because.....Because?
Motoorola likes...weird things because they are different? (really Kevlar backs)
Maybe everyone should stat making phones out of Acrylic tongue.gif

and if it's not gorilla glass corning needs to sue apple...... Just sayin' rolleyes.gif
