adding memory to my computer??

when i built my pc in 2010 i got gskill tri channel 6gb 1600, "sign" but i want to upgrade and add a little more ram to my pc but they dont sell it anymore?

can i mix another gskill tri channel 6gb even if its not the same timing? but its 1600?

or do i have to buy 12gb of computer new brand

It should work but I would try to find another kit to match that one. Perhaps put a ad in the wanted section. Or let us know what G.skill ram it is and perhaps someone will read it and see it. They may have it and sell you their kit. Maybe we can help find you one.

If it doesn't work by some chance, then sell the old kit and get another kit like the new one you bought.Thanks
