Oh, Jesus. I see why you think laptop audio is acceptable now.

Well, my friend, let me introduce you to your first step towards audio realization and awareness.

Buy the Samson SR850s if you want some bass and good gaming. Buy the RH600s if you want straight up gaming, almost no bass.

Toss in a mic with the extra money..or buy a soundcard.

What kind of music do you listen to? What are you going to be using these for? Is isolation important?

I listen to mostly Electro , House , some Dubstep , I use them for gaming as well as music. I need them to last. Isolation would be awesome usually a lot going on around me.

You say that now, but once you buy the SR850s (which you're going to do unless you purposefully sabotage yourself to prove me wrong, which I will find hilarious). you'll be kicking yourself in the rear for wondering why you were using those products for so long before. lachen.gif

So if i get the Samsons i understand they are better quality , however im a bit standoffish , reviews say they are a tad uncomfortable for most.

If i don't have an external sound card or a Dedicated sound card , for my new Desktop will it be worth investing in these. I get they're a better quality than the Fatal1tys. I was using on board on my old Desktop , due to my other mobo Dieing and not having a need to get an external Sound card.

I want something that will last me a good time , isn't cheap , and If i spend the extra money for a DAC or a Sound card I will see some improvement. I'm done buying headsets that done last me 1 Year when i take amazing care of my Things:3.

I know all the above. No one comes here looking for advice to upgrade but only wants to see a marginal improvement.

Those are the headphones you're going to buy.

People are funny. We have a thread for suggestions within price ranges. Yet people post here asking and then question it when you post those. 50 dollars isn't a bad investment. If you don't like how they feel buy better pads or sell them at a 10 dollar loss. I'm not trying to be rude but everyone speaks highly of the SR850s for a reason.
