Question about the Razer Deathadder Black Edition

Thread Starter
Is the Black Edition of the Razer Deathadder still slippery to pick up as first reported or has Razer now altered the rubber material on the sides?

I had a Zowie EC2 EVO and it was too slippery to use. It would slide out of my hands unless I was gripping it overly tight as demonstrated in this video -

Rubber sides in general will be slippery if you have dry hands, if not it sticks like a glove.

I've used the Razer Taipan and SS Sensei which both have rubber sides but neither of them slipped from my hand like the EC2 EVO does.

Going by comments in reviews on Newegg, posts on this forum and these videos, I assume it's as slippery as the EC2 EVO -

I haven't had any issues with mine, I far prefer the DA BE's rubber sides to my old DiamondBack 3G's shiny sides.

Yes because it is about body chemistry, the black edition slips to some, but for me grips better than any other mouse I have used, and I have used Alot of mice in the past 15 years.

Never understood the concept of a slipping mouse.. I have my hand on the mouse, on the table.. How can it "slip"?

When you lift it from the table to make faster swipes, turns etc.

You dont lift it.. : ] and if you do.. you pinch the sides of the mouse? youd have to pinch really badly for most mice to "slip"
still dont get it

My black DA does not feel slippery, with either dry or wet hands.
