What are safe temps for AMD Phenom II X4 955 BLACK Edition with stock cooler OC to 4.0mhz?
40c at idal and 57c at load.

I wouldn't suggest going over the 50-55*C range. That's where instability occurs on that chip. 62* is the absolute max.

I think the best temp for secure use 24/7 is around 45-52 ºc.

Try changing the stock cooler for an aftermarket like Hyper 212 Evo.

50-55*C is while stress testing. thumb.gif Don't try to hit 4GHz on stock cooler. Personally, I wouldn't suggest you do anything while using it.

then your temps are ok thumb.gif

But if you can buy a cheap aftermarket cooler like hyper 212 plus-evo will better because you can improve the cpu frequency and lower temps
