I need help doing a pencil mod on an old GT520. I can't seem to find the resistor on this card. Here are a few images, I'll upload more pics if needed

Sorry for the late reply. Care to share what you found for others who may be looking in the future?

No problem. Unfortunately I gave my card to my brother, I bought a 430 now. But I remember correctly I pencil moded this circled area:

And I actually got more than 30mhz, I got about 70mhz more in core clock and 50mhz and memory.

Since your such a genius pure and simple lol *My Man* *Pound It*

Maybe you could figure out which one I need to pencil mod on my MCP67M-A2 (7150M) I'm limited to 1.2v and 555mhz from 425mhz and if i could get 50Mhz+ I'd be hella happy smile.gif

There's a lot more going on, on a laptop motherboard. Need to back the pics up a little bit and get more of the board in the shots.

Based on the board layout, this single inductor, dual mosfet, and cap next to the inductor, looks like the vrm for that nvidia chip. The other two large inductors are most likely for the cpu. The control chips is a SC411 http://www.semtech.com/images/datasheet/sc411.pdf . The typical layout is very sinple, and given the sparse # of components around the chip, the resistors marked in blue are most likely the ones setting the voltage at the FB pin. You would need to test to see if one of them has connection to the output of the vrm, and if the other has a connection to ground.

Totally missed that one when I was looking from my phone last night. Best way to know for sure, would be to measure the voltage on the mosfets and compare to the voltage directly under the GPU core.
