Unless it says that it can in the item description then there's no guarantee that it can do 120hz.

Check out the info in the first post here:
http://www.overclock.net/t/1225919/yamakasi-catleap-monitor-club/

There's a great deal of info about 120hz monitors in that thread.

I'd be happy wih 80-100 hz in all honesty. I just wasn't sure if only that one model can be OC'd.

It's sold out, =/

Ahh, I see what you're talking about now.

From my understanding it's hit or miss as far as overclocks go with these monitors. Some folks have gotten pretty high with the stock monitors straight off of eBay. The ones that are branded yamasaki on the front from what I recall.

There's a few threads regarding the yamasakis and catleaps here and other forums like [H] also has a big thread about these monitors.

All the monitors from eBay will be limited to around 65-70hz unless stated AFAIK, the overclockable ones were taken out of production and only available for a month or 2.

Well that sucks.

Still though 70hz for an IPS that's $340 /w expedited shipping is still pretty sweet.

Though I can't stand the thought of getting dead pixels. Luckily with the model I'm getting there haven't been any bad reviews really so I'm hopeful.

Thanks guys. ^.^
