hi ocn

my sigrig HTPC is acting wierd i finally got my raid 5 working and now im experiencing less than 5mb/s write speed

heres a result test

this board isnt cheap how can the controller be this ****, or i hope i set something wrong

Onboard motherboard RAID? Even so, it shouldn't be THAT bad, but yes- RAID5 on motherboard controllers is generally terrible. Have you installed the latest drivers and ROM firmware (if applicable?).

i used all of the ones off the mobo disk, should i be looking into grabbing a raid controller? if so which one?

or is there an alternative raid i should run for HTPC for better speeds
