Thread Starter
I am looking for a 120Hz moniter and I would like to keep the price under $250 (If its not possible its ok) I would like it to be at least 23-24". Any Ideas? Also it has to be a new monitor not used

lemme know if you find one that isn't the acer one in that price range. Most are extremely overpriced because they discontinue perfectly good models and release a new one to keep prices up.

The point of this is for a 120 Hz monitor, I already have a 60 Hz 27" 1080p monitor. I am looking at 120 Hz for gaming use.

Also will 120 Hz hinder me in livestreaming?

I've made a similar thread about this(http://www.overclock.net/t/1310975/120hz-what-options-do-i-have), though I wasn't looking with a certain price in mind. Best of the options I found was the ASUS VG236H or VG236HE, which is the same monitor but with different retail accessories. On Saturday I bought a used one off of eBay for $250. The seller said it was in great condition and produces a clear image without defects. That better include no dead/stuck pixels. LOL! It's finally Monday, so I hope for it to ship out today.

Since you want new, though, your only option is the Acer:

The BenQ XL2420TX is a great 120hz monitor. I was using one for 3 months until I got my new catleap, and now I'm trying to sell it lol. Definitely put that one in your roster of items to consider.
