Should I get a new PSU?

Thread Starter
I just got a 3770k and a complete WC loop for my 670 and cpu. I was hoping for it to be very quiet, but now my PSU it the loudest thing in my case.

I have an Apevia Warlock 750w, and I plan on staying above 700w for a future SLI with 670s.

I was thinking something like the Corsair CX750, but I really don't want to buy something new until I find out if my PSU is actually affecting performance.

Corsair ax750 or Seasonic x750. There both pretty much the same psu and gold rated. The fans rarely even come on.

Rosewill Capstone 650W

I have never heard of the PSU you have currently

The 650 I listed will be enough for SLI 670 with OC

The power supply is garbage. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817153126 will be more than enough. Great deal with the 30 dollars off...

Kingwin Lazer Gold 700W has a blue LED and it's an excellent unit (quality/performance wise)... sadly it doesn't come in lower output versions.

Whats your budget ??

all you ever need is a good 650w bronze, silver or gold rated psu. just go by the budget you have.

Corsair GS700. Lets you choose from three colors LEDs. Tad bit $$ in my opinion.

You are better off with the HX650 for the same price.

So i've decided on the Rosewill Capstone 750-m

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182264

Before i buy, does anyone know of a well-rated 750-850w PSU that is semi-modular, has a blue LED fan and is around $100?

You've decided well, the price is excellent too... As for the blue LED options, since the Kingwin LZG-700 (same platform as the Capstone) is unavailable pretty much everywhere, the only other (quality) option that comes to mind is the Rosewill Lightning 800W (SF Golden Green inside, just like the Capstone and the LZG), but you'd be paying almost 30$ more for the LED alone (currently at newegg for 150$ with 15% off after promo code).
