Looking for an LGA1155 backplate

I recently purchased a Koolance CPU-360 block from another forum, and it only comes with the mounting screws but not the backplate.

Would any LGA1155 backplate work? I mean, the backplate is just what the waterblock screws into the motherboard through, so essentially every LGA1155 backplate will be lined up with those 4 holes which are the same for every waterblock that's compatible with an LGA1155 motherboard

Anybody have any ideas on what I could/should buy for a backplate? I emailed Koolance to see if there are compatibility issues between LGA1155/1156 backplates and their CPU-340/350/360/370 series, but they haven't gotten back to me. You also cannot find the CPU-360 backplate anywhere online, lol

CPU-360 and the CPU-370 are nearly identical. Pretty sure they share the same backplate. And no not all other backplates are the same. I doubt that all will be using the same threads.

Sadly, like Lowfat said, the threads will very likely be different for different waterblock backplates.

You might be stuck with having to rebuy another CPU-360/70 backplate.

thanks for the replies. unfortunately I cannot find any online retailers that sell the CPU-360/370 backplate for 1155/1156, if anybody here knows of any please let me know.. thanks smile.gif

Koolance contacted me, according to their support rep, the CPU-340 all the way to 370 backplates are interchangable for 1155 smile.gif

just bought their backplate kit for CPU-340/345 which comes with extra hardware for $14 shipped !
