Red Dead Redemption

There are plenty of good games out there to try. But these really stand out for me.

Demon's Souls and Dark Souls. Play them until you get so angry you throw your ps3 out your window into traffic.

Then get a PSP vita.

The game with the chick with the sword that was mentioned earlier is called heavenly sword. It's also a fantastic game.

Get that and Gran Turismo 5 in addition to the others people have mentioned. All fantastic games.

I've been wanting to play that game for awhile. I forgot to pick it up when I went to Gamestop to pickup up RE6 at midnight. That will be the next game I play.

Ratchet and Clank games. (Screw Sony for not making the PS2 RaC games available on Playstation store!!!!)
Sly Raccoon games on PS store, I think there will be a new one especially for PS3 coming out.
The Last of Us (when it comes out)
Watchdogs (when it comes out)
Infamous (I've never played Infamous 2, but it has Ellis' voice actor biggrin.gif)

Uncharted series
Mortal Kombat is kind of fun (you get Kratos on the PS3 version)
Little Big Planet
Ninja Gaiden 3 for teh lulz, since it's so difficult (and not available on PC)

inFamous 1 - brilliant thrilling game, actually my favourite of all time
inFamous 2 - doesn't really compare to the first one but you'll want to play it to continue the storyline
Prototype 1 - A LOT like infamous only with physical attacks instead of power,
Uncharted 1-3 - haven't played the full game but played demos and they're pretty good
any Ratchet 'n' Clank - fantastic casual games
