[Build Log] mATX 'The Green Rose' - Page 2

Got the water loop stuff delivered today, and a few other tid-bit's. I cut the 120mm hole in the rear of the case and touched up the paint. There's 1mm to spare on each side of the radiator, really tight fit. As I was cutting the hole, my hole saw caught an edge and flew across the garage, bent my wrist pretty good. No wonder they recommend a drill press for that. redface.gif

I'll update the picture show tomorrow. Got to busy working on to many things today. Whew, long day thumb.gif

Quick update...

I worked on a bezel yesterday cutting holes and such. I like the shaping of this, but the color is way off. It's a UV green acrylic, but I shot the backside with white, which results in this funky yellow'ish color. I'll be experimenting with different colors today and get better pictures. Now, back to work.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

I need to order another sheet of acrylic for the last side panel as I messed one up... rolleyes.gif Once I get the last sheet installed I can round the edges of the acrylic over.

More to come later in the day.

Sorry no updates yet. I was busy yesterday moving all my PC junk into the house. My daughter moved out, now I have a spare room just for my PC junk. Back to real work for the remainder of the week, so updates will be slow. I ordered more parts that should arrive this Saturday (Res/pump, etc.). In the mean time I will work on getting PSU installed/tested this week, then begin the modding/sleeving of the PSU cables. smile.gif

I used a standard 4.5" hole saw from the home depot like below. On the Acrylic you just have to go slow so you don't build up heat, I also sprayed water on it as I cut the hole to keep the heat down. I'd recommend a drill press, but I used a hand drill and held it straight as I could.
