thanks for the input XNine. could you please tell us the numbering system behind, lets say the switch 810?

(btw, do you have the new phantom case/prototype besides you somewhere?)

I'm trying to remember. I'm sick and still trying to wake up. No, I don't have the new phantom yet. Still waiting on mine, but when I do get it I'll be doing a build in it.

I think my kidney just failed....
Oh, wait, there it goes. We're good.

I bet it is the phantom 610 as there are no 600 series yet and that would make logical sense.

Let's see. I'm not sure what the first number is, second number is the year it was designed, and third number is the number in the series. For the switch 810, 8 (not sure), 1 (designed in 2011), and 0 for being the first in the series. Should a successor be made, it could be 831 or something like that. the new phantom is not in the 600 range.

could the black squares be a led built in temp monitor?
that would be sweet as windows 7 just cut off the use of side bar gadgets so now im stuck using realtemp and my evga precision x program to monitor stuff. is there a program to let me know what im using for ram and cpu in real time thanks.

Try rain meter. Free software, highly customizable, low system foot print. It takes some getting used to, because the are so many customisation options, but is slick. You can check my build of for a view of what I used it for.
