good 140mm rad fans

so im getting ready to buy a nzxt swicth se and fans. Although I dont yet have water cooling I will soon and want all the fans to macth. I realy like bit fenix spectre pros and areocool sharks i like the way they look but keep hereing there not good rad fans so is theyr any fans that look similar that are good for rads. A few conditons they must be 140mm and preferably under 15 dollars a piece and they must be blackk if i have to paint em okay but id rather avoid that.

I have personally used GT AP-15's which I think are great. Just bought some GT AP-14's as well.

Going to try some Cougars as they are highly recommended.

There is a trade off between static pressure and noise. You need to decide what is most important and then design up from there. Low FPI rads will work with slower fans. High FPI rads need faster/more static.

Martin's page also has good info on rads.

Bgears B-Blaster 140 $9 ea.

High static pressure, controls well despite not being PWM, I have 17 of them (120mm editions). I use them on EX rad's.

okay so how do you judge the static pressue as according to the spes the bit fenixs have a higher static pressure than the cougars the cougars are 1.18 the spectre pros are 1.24 so?

vortexs
Air pressure @ 12V (mm H2O) 1.18

spectre pro
Air Pressure (mmH2O): 1.24 mmH2O

Please explain

/agree These are estimates at best under ideal conditions.

Actual tests are better:

Color you can fix with paint.

Here are some 140mm tests... http://martinsliquidlab.org/2010/12/10/r7-140mm-fan-testing-on-a-hwlabs-sr1-radiator/

You could also use a 120 with an adapter. That is what the post above was hinting at. The 120 with a 140mm converter was outperforming a 140mm fan.
