GTX 580 RMA - MSI isn't answering or returning calls :( - Page 2

Not that I'm ultra familiar with MSI work schedules, but Monday and Tuesday were public holidays to celebrate mid autumn festival. Could be a reason for the added delay.

That would be strange for their California location to celebrate a Chinese and Vietnamese holiday, wouldn't it?

Anyway, I received an e-mail today stating that my replacement card would be sent out today thumb.gif

Well it seems as though I've been given false information.

No one has sent me a tracking number as I requested in my last email. The online RMA status page also still says "in processing/testing."

EDIT: This is getting old and I'm growing more and more impatient.

I don't mean to be a smart-ass, buuuutttttt it's a good thing there are MSI reps in this forum to assist members and customers at a level unattainable from a call center. I really mean it rolleyes.gif

My 7970 replacement took about a month. I also sent in a motherboard to Gigabyte and a video card to Asus around the same time. The turn around time for both of those was about 2 weeks. When I did get my RMA back from MSI they upgraded it to a 7970 Lightning which was pretty cool.

No, people of other cultures/faiths do so all the time.

 

The B&H store in New York closed recently due to a Jewish holiday.
