i am currently underway of my first ever case mod, figured i would like to post all my progress on this site as i see alot of people are doing. I am open to all the suggestions you may have.

Case: sentey BX2-4291 v2.3

Will be painting the case and minor mods as i go along.. here is the case all broke down before i unscrew the rivets and get down to paint.



The l.e.d controller before modding.


Popping rivets and such right as we speak : ) will post more progress this friday i don't want to give away too much at one time ; )
can pretty much guess the color scheme by the title ; )

just painted the top of my case. only had time to do first coat but going to sand it down get more paint and put a second.. wont have the funds to finish paint till friday so hopefully going to get more down to the design and get paint finished and ready by next friday.

Top not quite finished but more to come next weekend.


didn't tape it off so good seeing as this was only first coat so next coat will have better taping. ; )


Any suggestions is appreciated oh and a little teaser some carbon fiber will be used "tastefully"

This is my first actual mod, and to paint a computer so im learning as I go but with time, the right tools and a little patience I believe I can do well on this build smile.gif I feel it! Lol

My advice would be to paint that grill section as well. Getting a perfect tape line is difficult task.

i got to thinking that.. i want it black but i was thinking to myself that my white+clear would destroy the blend of black and white if i kept the stock black on there.. so will paint that white for a primer, then paint it black and add clear over whole piece : ) thanks for the reassurance.

New Psu and Side panel came in yesterday, going to take off the plexi-glass and paint the side like the rest of it ofcourse and decided to go with a ocz modxstream 700 simply because my old rosewill 850 watt wasn't modular and i'm not going to be full liquid cooling yet so this should work just fine for me for now : ) can't beat it for $75.

Sorry i wont be posting much this month as i will be moving into my new house instead of this one bedroom i'm in, into a 2 bedroom that will be changed into a work room : ) oh yes and also have a paint booth outside which was once a shed but now lined with plastic and vent fans. Pics of the new work station will come as i get settled in.

but for now just a teaser of the window before paint and the psu before sleeving..




oh and ordered me a $25 6770 so will have to find another 6770 for future crossfire when i get my 800 watt psu and use this one for backup pc. stay tuned for more action
