Wireless antenna help please

Hi, ive got a P8Z77 V mobo with a built in wifi card and an antenna with this connector http://imageshack.us/a/img12/2287/dsc00276wr.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img145/1397/dsc00277ac.jpg now what connector is this? is it IPEX? as i want to find a replacement movable antenna to get a better signal are there any antenna's which offer this connection or will i need a adapter as most ive seen are rp sma female/male.

I ideally want something like this http://www.tp-link.com/en/products/details/?categoryid=217&model=TL-ANT2408C#over but with my above connection.

At first glance it looks like F-RP-SMA which is what that TP-LINK uses. If the threads are on the outside (looks like it, hard to tell in photo) it is F-RP-SMA.

There are no threads on it, just a push in connection. That tp link is a rp sma female.

If there's no threads on it then it isn't F-RP-SMA and so the TP-LINK won't work with it.

That looks like an SMB connector...

I can't say that I've seen SMB antennas other than bundled like you mobo. One option might be to find an adapter for SMA to SMB, most decent electronic shops should have or be able to get.

never seen that push in adapter before weird, just for some general info tho recently brought an antennae for my htpc s... similar to this one and jeez whaat an improvement download speed is now pretty much equal to my wired one! so so good!
