I have the new pieces sitting loosely in place until the paint cures a little more.

Yesterday I replaced the awful blue tubing I had running from the lowest radiators up to the D5 pump, with some nice fresh white XSPC hi flex. Next up is to start sorting through all the wiring and see what I need to rebuild, or in the case of fan wiring, maybe just extend. Right now it looks like a bunch of the wiring will just have to be remade from scratch so that is going to take some time. It's not hard, just time consuming. But this gives me a chance to set things up a little differently. I'm still going to keep the mini Tamiya connectors for the pumps & the FC9 but I might need to make a new harness....same goes for the 2x molex connector harness that powers up the Aquaero's, it will likely have to be remade to account for relocating the psu.

After looking around, I see I forgot to punch a hole for the lowest wiring to pass through to the side of the case.......maybe I can run the wiring for the flow meters/temp sensors sitting on the light panel up the side of the case so I don't have to take everything apart. crap, I wish I had thought about this before as a pass through would be better.....I just don't want to take the case all apart again. mad.gif I don't know, I'll think on it. I might could punch a 7/8" hole in the side with my hand drill and hole cutter without disassembling if I keep my shop vac sitting there pulling in the detritus....? Hmmmm.

Hi Gerald just dril a small hole behing the fitting for the flow gauge. If needed make a cover from scrap and put it on top off the hole. smile.gif

Hehe, those gave me a good chuckle I must say. biggrin.gif

I'm not sure how I would actually feel about having minions, they are so adorable that I
might feel bad about making them do all the work... rolleyes.gif

It's an idea....I'm still debating but meanwhile I'm working on my power cables.

Sure, now they show up! lol.
.
.
I just finished up extending my power cables for the Aquaero's. They were too short but instead of trashing them I put mini tamiya fittings on the end in pairs for +12V/ground & +5V/ground with regular ATX fittings on the opposite end of some already-sleeved scrap wires, then connected the 6 pin connector and plugged into the psu. Saved me a little time. Now I'm working on tying up some of this spaghetti on the backside of the case. Good grief where does all the wiring come from?.....and I still haven't connected any sensors up yet.

I didn't think about having to "resize" all the cables, lol! If you look at the left side of the motherboard you can see the two USB 2.0 cables I shortened....they are about 8 inches long, but formerly were full length (about 1 meter, or whatever size Aqua Computer sends with the Aquaero's).

So I need to get working on making up new cables for the gpu's & 8 pin cpu. I hope I have enough sleeve!

Oh and BTW you can see how roomy it is below the motherboard.....

much neater clustering of the cabling runs, looks great ! i'm curious to see how ya run the gpu cables .... thumb.gif

so weird to see the single exhaust fan up top. But Mr. Raystorm certainly looks bright-eyed wink.gif

Thanks! I'm making the gpu cables now, the plan is to run them under the mobo.
