Finally! Tomorrow I will be placing some orders. Time to change things up a little.

1x HDD Cage Expansion Kit
1x SSD Mounting Kit
1x Silverstone 120mm Fan Filter
8x FrozenCPU ConnectRight DIY SATA EZ Crimp Connector - White
4x Akasa PROSLIM Super Slim SATA 3.0 Data Cable - 50cm - (longer ones to reach to HDD cage....I have a few 50cm ones already...)
1x 3-Pin Power Distribution PCB 5xWay Block (MMT-PCB-5WAY) - (this will be for the case fans and mount on the side area)
3x Bitspower G1/4" Female / Female Pass-Through Fitting White (BP-DWWP-C04) - (2 are replacements for the pedestal I/O and one is for a revised pedestal drain. I already have 2x mini valves. I still want/need a topside drain as well as the pedestal drain.)
1x Phobya G1/4 Inline Temp Sensor Coupler - 2-Pin (71170) - (I think one more will round it out pretty good, have 3 already)
2x 2-pin plug. for relay output and power output (for aquaero) 53036
1x 3 pin plug. for relay output (for aquaero 5) 53080
1x Swiftech MCP35X-WT™ 12 VDC Pump  - (If one is good then two is redundancy ?)
1x Swiftech MCP35X2 Housing - White
1x Alphacool Plexi G1/4" Lighting Module - Blue - (add another one to the top of the res)

Still undecided on fan colors for the pedestal. Right now I'm sort of leaning toward brushed nickel or titanium silver for the blades & white frames. I have some thoughts still about a bright copper for the blades. Going to look around the usual home improvement stores and see what I can come up with. May have to try a few and see what they actually look like applied.
My wife says I should paint the fans green. I hope she was joking......

....need to finalize location for the HDD cage. High would probably be better in terms of wire clutter.
...decide on color(s) for possible acrylic pump mount/platform
...some pedestal work will be put off until CL finishes new design
...decide on whether to fab up an ATX break to shut off psu from the AQ5

Ideas on fan blade/frame colors, anyone?

I kind of think blue/matte white for fan blades and casings would look quite stunning for your build mandrix. thumb.gif

That's not a bad idea. All I've seen so far in spray cans is either real dark or sort of "off". If I can find a shade of blue I can be happy with...... I may need to just buy some and see what it looks like applied to an actual fan.
But if you see some in a spray can version you think looks good please link me to it.

Decided to scratch the power and relay connectors for the Aquaero. I can't see spending that kind of money to ship an ounce of plastic from Germany. If I can mail something to Germany for a little over $5 then I'm sure they can reciprocate. Oh well, no use going on about it.
All I could find in the US was the relay connector at Sidewinder.

So I decided to go ahead and order the "aquaero powerconnect - 24 pin ATX standby power / ATX break" (and a bunch of other stuff) from PPC-s.

I'm assuming people know what I'm talking about but that may not be the case. The ATX connector hooks up to the Aquaero for shutdown of the psu (and hence the pc) if an alarm condition is met in the Aquasuite software. It also provides standby 5v power to the unit.
For example I could set up an alarm to kill the power if the flow rate drops below a specified point, or if a temperature gets too high.
Here's what it looks like:

So I'm hoping I can find a clean way to integrate the function into my cables without using theirs. My current 24 pin cable is one I fabbed to have no excess wire, and I would like to keep it that way for less clutter.

Otherwise I've placed orders with Case Labs,PPC-s, & frozencpu.
Plus a wine chiller. tongue.gif

Can you take apart the AP-15 easily?

You got the important stuff! thumb.gif

I was disappointed in the ATX powerbreak. If I understand it correctly...you have to have the relay connection to use it. Why not include that? And since my board provides power through the USB even when the system is powered off...I really don't need the 5v stand by. I'm planning on getting the relay connection and then trying to wire it myself. Their extension is quite ugly.

I've never taken one apart, although other fans are pretty easy. I don't expect any problems.

No kidding? Crap, I guess I'll have to go to Sidewinders and order the relay fitting then.
Yeah I thought everything was included, I have no intention of using their 24 pin and was just going to jack it for parts. Oh well, time to get that order in for the connector.

Actually Sidewinders is out of the relay plug. So I bit the bullet and bought the relay and power connectors at Aquatuning.
