Good question. I really don't know how acceptable this kind of plastic is to dye.

I like the way this guy thinks. thumb.gif

All the fan connectors and molex connectors I dyed took the dye real well.

I'd die, to see you dye something. biggrin.gif

Nope, kyrlon is good enough for me.

I'm satisfied with the result.

How's it hold up when you make a few connections and undo it?

You should contact Cardinal Paint Supply (Supplier of the powder for CaseLabs), Mandrix. I got a hold of someone over there and I'm going to be getting a white paint form them that matches the matte white powder CaseLabs uses on their cases. Just gonna toss it in the sprayer, or get it in a rattle can. They said they can match color/sheen, just not texture. I know it will definitely save me some time trying to deal with getting powder coating done out here in Hawaii. Check it out. thumb.gif

Nice find. Let us know cost also when you get some.

Will do Chris. It will be a bit cheaper for y'all though, paying to get things to Hawaii is beyond aggravating. mad.gif

Appreciate the tip, Addiction. The paint I have will have to do. If I decide to paint something larger I will definitely consider it. Chris this paint seems to be holding pretty well and seems fairly resistant to abrading.
How does one get paint into a rattle can? Or are you saying they will sell me paint in a rattle can?

Three things arrived today
HDD cage
SSD mount
Wine chiller (no pics)

Some large paint shops will do it (at least back when I was mainland they used to), and I am also going to ask Cardinal if they can just sell it to me already in rattle cans. It shouldn't be a problem since they are the direct manufacturer of said paint product. If it becomes a hassle, I'll just put it in a sprayer, same concept. tongue.gif I'll let you know the outcome though.
