I went ahead and ordered the radiator flex bay mount and a couple of single covers. I guess I can shift things around a little although it will take up 7 full bays.
Radiator overkill R US. Just can't stand to have this RX240 laying around unused. Besides, it's already painted white. biggrin.gif

(He posts in help forum: Will 120.10 radiator space be enough to cool my rig????) tongue.gif

You must wake up early like me every morning around 7 I sit at my desk in my office drink my coffee and read through the forums... everyday around 7-7:30 I see you have updated your thread thumb.gif

Anyways... nice I haven't seen hardly anyone mount a rad in the front of the SM8 because its already rad overkill. However I have 2x 240's sitting around and I haven't been able to find a use for mine either.

Yep-I'm up between 5-5:30 every day. Habit from all those years where I had to get up and drive for an hour and a half, I guess. I'm not one to stay up too late either, I usually crash by 10. I function best on about 7 hours sleep.

In the beginning I always knew I was going to use the 240, I just wasn't sure how. Now I've decided I can probably put it inside the case without things being too cluttered, because I really want to stay away from that.
I will move the Aquaero up one bay when I install the radiator and hope I can get to everything with the radiator installed. I have a hell of a time seeing the fan connectors on the AQ5 as it is. Might have to go two bays up, we'll see.

I see my new circle punch has hit the local PO, I want to get the fan stickers punched out and installed this weekend if I can. Hope this one doesn't break like the other one did on the first punch!

Fan stickers. Simple, but I'm far from a graphics artist.

If anyone has something else they want to submit, I'll consider it. biggrin.gif

I think it is simple, yet effective, Mandrix. There is something to be said about simplicity in certain things when dealing with builds like yours. I don't think you want to go super detailed or over the top with everything. tongue.gif So, those stickers get my vote. The right colors, simple name, nothing that attracts attention away from everything else. thumb.gif

I tried that, but didn't like the way it looked. Thanks though.

I wanted to keep it simple because I just don't know how to do anything much and make it look good. I was also afraid it would start looking too busy on such a small size, they are only 1.5".

Thanks.

In reference to what Socketus suggested, have you thought about maybe just doing "M-insert random thing here inbetween-M" something to play off your name and it being a Merlin series. I like the way it is, but it never hurts to look at other ideas. I think Socketus might be onto something! tongue.gif

I think they look great. If you end up deciding to add something...maybe add the fan model and/or logo in small print?

I'll play around with Inkscape a little more and see what I can come with. I did have some designs with fan data on it but wasn't happy with the overall look. I'm not good at this I'm afraid.

One thing I had wanted to do was put the lettering at a slant, but I couldn't figure out how to do it. I considered putting some kind of graphics in at a different angle than the text and same story. Maybe tomorrow with a fresh mind a pot of coffee I'll find something I can do.

Thanks guys, I'll play around a bit tomorrow and see what happens. Keep the ideas coming!
