Didn't work for the majority of gamers. But their pitch was true. With the Vita and with the PS3 Sony hasn't failed to give me what they promised. Sure they aren't meeting their sales expectations but what they are offering is real and is awesome if your like me and happen to fall into the market the Vita is after. I'm sure there are other gamers like myself who would really enjoy it, but haven't picked it up due to the high priced ontop of mixed reviews. Success to me doesn't mean the same to me as it does for Sony. Sony success is based on sales. Their success to me as a consumer is high because they stand behind their projects and offer their customers what they promised even if it comes a little late. I use to see such promises with Nintendo but after the Wii all of that changed.
Loading times aren't a big deal to me. Load up my game, find a seat and enjoy. Turn the screen off, do something else for a few hours and then return to my game having only lost just a little bit of battery during that time.
