Reviews are meaningless. Pretty much every big name review site gets either paid or threatened by publishers in order to give higher scores.

The real telltale sign is USER reviews. So far, most I have read said the game sucked monkey testicles.

Being a fan of RE1 (well RE1 remake on GC) I have to say I have hated the new direction (RE4/5). I can't understand why they went from one of the scariest games to ever be made (RE1) to the action/thriller style of the new RE games.

Sadly, just like Racoon City, RE4 and RE5, this looks like yet another crap RE game. Sorry to RE4 lovers, but RE4 wasn't RE. RE should have zombies, fixed camera and most importantly, should literally scare the poop out of you.

Sorry Capcom, but you're not getting my money

That is the truth!! I'm playing the first 3 games on PC and they're AWESOME!!!

RE has always been about small spaces, the feeling of being alone...... Not running around like some stupid git spraying and praying...

Okay, the problem seems to be the perception of what a RE game should be. I really enjoyed RE5. It's not the same as the earlier titles, but I really enjoy doing the co-op campaign. Perhaps they should have split the franchise, stuck with the horror-puzzle game and created another series like RE5.
I will not be disappointed if this is like RE5, I'll thoroughly enjoy it.

dude I am not surprised.. even the developers admitted they want the series to appeal to western culture, they took out element of ( scary, out of ammo, alone feeling survival aspects ) and replace it with explosion, guns, run and shoot style game-play.. they admitted all of this they even said they want the series to follow COD franchises.. there is a video of the developers admitting this I will try to find it.. its sad to think why even other developers are following COD i guess " follow the money" ? .. look at bf3 even that went to the ground lol ....

I have a feeling some of these reviews are very biased though. Watching unbiased reviews on youtube give you a better outlook on the game, and might change your mind a little.

This game was looking bad for the start, as soon as I saw the zombies using guns I pretty much knew it was going to be bad. RE 4 was the last scary RE. Also how did Bf3 copy cod and as for going to ground it got good reviews and sold very well.

I agree it looks crap but Leon is my fav char ever so i will buy the PC version anyway so. Also RE4 is easily the best in the series i don't like the old one very much accept RE Directors cut Dual Shock on PS1 that owns them all
