Games have changed and I think pretty much all new games released used triple buffering. But if you aren't sure, you can force it via Nvidia/Ati control panel. If MSI afterburner OSD is showing that you are getting 50 FPS with Vsync on, then you ARE getting 50 FPS. There is no half-refresh rate happening with triple buffering.
It's really a matter of screen tearing vs. input lag. Though whatever you do, I'd strongly recommend staying away from adaptive vsync, it's just flawed. Refer to my previous post.

ok, i honestly never get screen tearing so idk why everybody talks about it so much but i'll enable it, thx

not every eye can see all things

some people can`t notice 60fps, tearing, crappy shadows (assasing creed 2 and borderlands), some can´t notice the difference between 4096 textures vs 256*256, anisotropic filtering and msaa, and many more, but it is there

Everyone can notice all of those things, if you look closely and point out differences. What you mean to say is that some people aren't bothered by these things.

Personally, all of those things bother me a great deal. Can't stand screen tearing or crappy AA etc. It's a gift and a curse wink.gif
