I might go get some velcro cable ties and try to tidy up the cables. There's just no where to put them all. I'll figure something out. But those last few pics I posted are basically it until I get some LED lighting to light up the inside of the case more.

My next project is cutting up that HEC case you sent me.

what's the plan for it.?
I got almost enough spare parts for another build, all I need is a case and CPU
not feeling like it though, not now.
I actually have a case but do not want to use it.
gonna buy and extra motherboard to have around just for those never know moments..
I like having two spares in case I do an impromptu build with one of them.

Get rid of the massive vents on the side and turn it into a sealed window. Cable management holes, I run three 92mm fans across the top because the way it was designed if you wanted to use 120mm fans they would have to be the really thin ones because the motherboard is in the way. I might cut that up some and put plexiglass across the portion that doesn't have fans to reduce dust. Then I'll probably paint both inside and outside on that one.

so do you have the temps better with the closed panel and all the mods
or do you feel the need to open up the side.?

About a degree less actually.

Furmark 1080p Benchmark GPU 1250/1450 @ 1.25v

The CPU and GPU temps are lower than before.

I think the idea there is to de-rivet the back and motherboard tray of the case and flip them upside down so you can get direct airflow from the front 120mm fans to the rear 120mm fan. I might ditch my DVD-RW drive (I never use it anyway) and installed a grill and 120mm fan up there to get some airflow straight to the radiator.

I'm trying to get agressive with my voltage and figure out why I cant seem to get past 4.3GHz with this motherboard/chip combo.

So far so good but ram timings need to be tuned.
is it stable.?
what offset you using.?
remember that board wasn't exactly perfect in the first place.

RAM timings suck.! tongue.gif

Yeah the timings are all on auto ATM. I can get them in the 7's and 8's with a little voltage bump. I did manual voltage 1.4v. So far its stable.
