Are you referring to the slight rattle when scrolling up? Mine does the same, most mice I have owned do this so I would not worry about it.

As for the sensor, you cannot choose which sensor to use. Both of them work togeather.

That pad is plastic correct? A mouse pad is subjective, I use mine with a Artisan Hien Mid cloth pad as I like the control.

Yes the slight rattle when scrolling up, on the Taipan is kinda jerky, when scrolling down is dead silent. When scrolling up it gives you the felling that in one second the scroll wheel is breaking from his axis.

And also the left click button is kinda louder compared with the right click. And the mouse is very small, i used for 1 year a mionix naos 5000, which was big and easy to use, i must tend with this mouse.

If i buy a Goliathus Fragged Control Omega, i want precision and smooth when i use the Taipan. That pad is ok ?

In the past i remember i used a Goliathus with a DeathAdder and worked perfect.

Not used that pad so I can't really say but coming from an old Ice Mat glass pad to a cloth pad it does take some getting used to but I much prefer the control of the Hien plus I am not dusting it off every 10 minutes. A decent cloth pad will still remain a smooth glide so you should have no worries in that regard.

The mouse wheel on mine feels still feels stable even when scrolling up, its just the awkward noise I hear. Its not as bad as the Steelseries Xai I tried a while back, I found the scroll on that mouse to be terrible, something I could not live with.

Both buttons on my mouse feel OK as well, no abnormally loud click either - i'll double check when I get back tonight, it may exist but not enough to annoy me. I do however normally get annoyed by things like this.

I like the quality of the mouse, though I think the coating may have a tendency to go shiney (not wear) quickly around where your fingers rest on the top buttons.
