IE9 comes bundled with Windows. Countless companies will only use whatever has the most help/support, so obviously IE would come out on top. The number of PC's running in businesses outnumber the number of PC's running in residential areas.

Doesn't matter what the numbers are here in the West. IE is the most used and most compatible browser in the world. Unless there are series issues with IE I don't see that changing any time soon.

I can see this changing in the future, as the older generation dies off, and the younger generation who is using chrome will become the majority, etc.

I think around 80-90% of real-world security issues come from user error. All the browsers have it so that if you don't visit strange or unknown sites, install shady stuff, or anything else like that, security is pretty much the same. No web browser prevents user mistakes/stupidity.




IE 10 is not that bad.
