http://www.overclock.net/t/1312118/ocn-n00b/10#post_21575371 (I must warn you pic HEAVY)

Hey all, as you can guess I am new to the site. I have been tinkering with computers for about 15 years now and in all that time I have never built my self a really nice rig. Finally I was given "permission" by the wife to build myself a new PC. Unfortunately I was still on a fairly tight budget but I have been piecing together a rather nice rig, which I plan to do some overclocking with in the near future.

Specs: Updated 1/13/2014
Case-
Corsair 600T White (I was a huge fan of the Cooler Master Stacker 830, and I think this case took that beauty and evolved into something much better). I would love to get a clear side panel for it, I have seen a few people that make them from $125-$300 I just thought that was a little high, but I understand the time and effort that go into making them.
Mobo-
ASUS P8Z77-V LK
CPU-
Intel Core i5 3570k
CPU Cooler-
Cooler Master GeminII S524
Ram-
8Gb Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600
PSU-
Corsair 750 TX V2
Graphics-
EVGA 660Ti 3Gb Super clocked - SOLD
MSI GTX 670 2GB Power Edition x2 in SLI
Optical-
ASUS Blu-Ray drive
Storage-
OCZ Vertex 3 120G SSD
Seagate Barracuda 7200 1.5TB HDD
4 Bitfenix Spectre Pros, two intake and two exhaust
NZXT white LED light kit
White Paracord Sleeved Cables

I hope this system will last me for a little while and should be easy to upgrade in the future. The case is amazing and I hope I never have to get rid of it. As I said water cooling and over clocking are in the near future I am just not sure how near.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks and I look forward to seening you all in the forums.

Looks good! Nothing like putting a system together and booting it up for the first time.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. That is not something you see often on most forums. It is a welcome change.

Agreed, it's a breath of fresh air on this forum.

Nice specs... I assembled and booted up my first build last week and man was it gratifying.

Welcome biggrin.gif

Well i picked up my CPU yesterday, I hope to have it installed Firday night when i get back home. here are some shots of the build thus far. Nothing special, but still thought I would share.

Sadly when i get the CPU installed i will be using the stock heatsink, until i decide what kind of water cooling i want to do, so it will not look that good.
