does this oc look ok?

Thread Starter
955oc.jpg 292k .jpg file Ive just been tweaking my oc and seem to have managed to get to 3.7 stable. with the figures in the attached image.

the cpu nb frequency is at 2400mhz. and temp seems to top out at about 54c.

My only worry is that my board has unsunk vrm's. does this mean that pushing more than rated voltage through the chip means the vrms will get stinking hot?

you should be fine if you're OCing through just your cpu multiplier.

if your vrms don't have heatsinks, i would SERIOUSLY advise these....

They will get insanely hot before the throttling kicks in, and it is terrible for your board. On these boards, they will not throttle unless you have a newer BIOS revision either, so- this can be fairly dangerous.

I'd also recommend a fan on top of those heatsinks ^.

Unhide your temperatures, by the way. TCase is far more useful at this stage, and your core temps indicate that your estimated TCase is probably near the thermal limit of that chip.
