Hey everyone. I've recently started hooking my adh ad700s into my old tritton 720 decoder for virtual surround in games. I've got the decoder going into my sound card via optical.

My question is, should I disable any virtual surround enhancements on the sound card since the decoder is creating the virtual surround as well?

And before someone says I should just use the sound card for surround instead of the decoder, I cant because its a 3 year old sound card and doesnt have an option for dolby headphone so the surround isnt as nice direct from soundcard.
