What colors does the shell come with? I would probably pick black for the Titanium Grey variant.

AFAIK, there are only 3 colors, white, black and pink. I got the white one.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Finally Hits Verizon
Adam Mills — 11/29/2012

The long-awaited Samsung Galaxy Note 2 for Verizon has finally touched down today on the carrier’s 4G LTE network and it currently available to purchase online as well as in retail locations.

After weeks of speculation and mystery, Verizon finally confirmed the Galaxy Note 2 release date as today, November 29th, after a lengthy pre-order which started all the way back at the end of October. At the time, Verizon did not specify any sort of release date, instead, opting to wait until two days before the device’s release date before revealing the official details.

Finally though, the last carrier in the United States to have announced the Galaxy Note 2 is now carrying the 5.5-inch phablet which has already gone on to sell more than five million units worldwide.

It’s a record setting performance for Samsung’s phablet sequel and the numbers should only increase after the device’s arrival on the largest 4G LTE network in the United States.

Verizon’s 4G LTE network, on which the Galaxy Note 2 runs, boasts over 400 4G LTE markets in the U.S. Its next biggest rival, AT&T, has a 4G LTE network that is home in just over 100 markets. Verizon, unlike AT&T and Sprint, plans to have its 4G LTE roll out completed by some time in the middle of 2013.

That’s fantastic news for those looking to get the Galaxy Note 2, one of Verizon’s best smartphones, as it means that the device will be capable of pulling down Wi-Fi like speeds all over the country.

Those speeds will definitely come in handy with a device like the Galaxy Note 2 as its big-screen and its S-Pen stylus were built with mobile productivity and content consumption in mind.

The Galaxy Note 2 on Verizon is going to command a rather large price tag as it checks in with a $299.99 on-contract price, far more expensive then a typical smartphone. It does however feature top of the line hardware including a quad-core processor and it also features Android 4.1 Jelly Bean right out of the box.

Samsung’s launch on Verizon now means the Galaxy Note 2 calls five carriers in the U.S. home, a list that includes AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and U.S. Cellular.

Only Best Buy near me doesn't have it in stock... EVERY other BB does. :'(

(Need to get it from BB because I need to return my GS3 before I can get the Note 2)

To anybody on the fence considering the Note 2, DO IT!

I got used to the size in about 30 minutes and even a GS3 feels small now. Despite the lower PPI of the Note 2 vs GS3, the pentile screen on the GS3 looks worse.

It's an awesome phone.
