Despite the Note 2 having a larger screen, it actually feels smaller because there is much less bezel and more screen.
Yup. That is exactly what I heard in a video, it was very easy to hold with one hand (wrap around). It's good to hear that Samsung is keeping these things in mind when it comes to aesthetics.

I just wish that they took out the physical buttons and used the on-screen navigation buttons (similar to its Nexus devices / tablets). Some people say they don't like it, but they probably haven't tried it.
Having the navigation bar toggle off when you're watching your videos is an awesome feature to have. More screen estate and no buttons (they can be toggled on/off)

This guy. So I can then happily put a bullet through this terrible excuse for a phone.

I didn't have any other choice. If I wanted internet at all I had to use my mobile data. Doesn't matter anymore as I am in the UK and pay 40gbp (roughly $60) a month for unlimited HSPA+ data, will be 4G once they upgrade the network.

I actually prefer having the home button most of the time, except for, as you said, when viewing movies.

But at 5.5", I doubt the home button will be an issue for viewing movies.

It's not... but it would be rather much preferred to have it as a on-screen key. Surprisingly, if you root and custom ROM it up you can do a sweet amount of changes to it that can be used for other things.
It also logically doesn't make any sense for Samsung to include a button for menu as Google doesn't want users to have the menu button, instead it is mainly on the screen (usually top right of some sort)
Quote:
Not only should your apps stop relying on the hardware Menu button, but you should stop thinking about your activities using a “menu button” at all. Your activities should provide buttons for important user actions directly in the action bar (or elsewhere on screen). Those that can’t fit in the action bar end up in the action overflow.

Overall, it's kind of sad that companies who make their own Android device doesn't take advantage of these features. On screen keys are awesome.

Videos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=Nre2Uz-4QE0#t=67s or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDghRI0ysq0 or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZEodCnYv58

At 5.5" that could become 5.75" or some sort and then it could be bragged as a bigger screen even though navigation bars are taking a portion of it.

Thread Starter
I expected the price to be 300 but was really hoping for 350. Not a 100% sure that I wish to stick with sprint another 2 years. If sprint allows this device to have a unblocked sim card I wouldn't mind paying full price or allowing them to sub it for me depending on the phones cost off contract and the cost of ending a contract after a year. Sometimes it is cheaper to end a contract with the phone discount than it is to buy the phone outright. I'm not looking to end my contract early but if sprint makes any more cuts they will force my hand. I'm thinking the next thing to go is the unlimited data. Plus if the phone isn't international it really kills the resale value.
